Overview

The narwhal island is one of the favorites, being one of the more original islands with an entire underground area complete with lava and plenty of resources for progression. It contains sulfur, iron, a single mithril node and is also one of the few islands where you can find hufungus, a giant mushroom used for white and purple dye. It is also a great island for lava fishing, given the large lava lake second only to the volcano.

Mithril Location

Reaching the mithril spot in this island will require a bit of building, as it is across a lava stretch that is risky to cross if you're not careful. You can build any structure on top of the lava without it dissolving, which makes it very easy to cross. It is best done with four stone huts or boulders, but anything else will work as long as you can make a safe path to it. Video with location below.
